day 7....Rain

Silence .. listen.. WET!
 Birdsong twitter, raucous.. then..
Silence... drip,drip,drip...a cat!

Todays Haiku  has been inspired by a very heavy rainfall... and
the cheery song of the 'bush' birds... until ....there it is... the neighbours cat! It always amazes me that they can sing in chorus and halt on cue.

Day 6....True Love

This is about my own 'true love'.... two hearts really do
beat as one. Problems have engulfed us, yet never does
my 'true love' waiver, or bemoan ill-fate.... he is the best!

Thump, thumpity-thump
Valor bends the knee, tried, true...
Heart, mind, soul... my love.

Day 5....Solstice

Winter solitice is upon us.... long nights and short days.

Days are drawing in
Starry nights, long with swaddle
keeping close till morn.

Day 4...........

Since Haiku is about being in the moment [season]... I am becoming more and more aware of my surroundings and emotions...

Pearls.. a mound of pearls
Frothy, foamy , glistening,
Luxury..... softly....

Soap bubbles were the source of my Haiku today..........

Haiku .. day 3...Ribbon

Tied, binds with beauty
Sheer, delicate , strong and sure
Contents held secure.

Time.... One directional, Honored, Waster, Heals,Tested...

This post is about TIME... what it is, how it is viewed and used or abused.
Haiku:
Spent, gone yesterday
Tomorrow , mine alone new
Today.... grow, mend, heal.

Do you think of time? It is the only one-dimensional thing I personally know of. How do you spend your time? How WILL you spend your time? Essentially, the choice is ours.... make it count, make it work ... for you... time is yours... to own, to have, to hold and to use to the best of ability.

Daily post

Thoughts decend like rain
Wait! the sun rose red this morn
Rain before the bow.

First post... Pain

In the community of respect, I shan't share whose pain this is, but please let me say... I feel their pain in my heart.

Haiku: written with pain...
1)...
BURST! Wide open gash
A soul trickles out sorrow
Spent and lifeless lay.

2)...
A tear fell today
A flood uncontrolled
BLOOD - a broken heart.

Renditions in my Journal.
